About James

James recently completed a five-year stint in Dubai, working as a webmaster for motoring website Crankandpiston.com and later additionally as Publishing Editor of upscale car magazine EVO Middle East. During that time he road tested just about every supercar, luxury car and off-roader marketed in the region.

He met and interviewed many of his motorsport heroes and traveled extensively to race circuits, product launches and technical presentations across Europe, Scandinavia, North America, the Middle and Far East.

As he built up his knowledge of mainstream and specialist marques, he broadened his driving experience and honed his syntax and writing skills by producing readable, informative and often humorous content for both online and print distribution.
